Mozart v Haege NA I "Tilou" Owned by Ray and Pascale, Quebec, Canada Tilou is NOT MY BREEDING, however he's owned by good friends and a very nice German Shorthaired Pointer. He's Roxie's "big brother" by two months. Presuming scores, hips, etc. check out as planned, the two should produce some nice pups. Tilou achieved a 110 point Prize I Natural Ability Score in Montreal on June 17th. Congratulations. He earned 4's except for the track, where he earned a 3. The tracking conditions were difficult due to short grass. At the Ottawa Valley CKC Field Dog Junior test, Tilou kind of stole the show. He finished second out of over 20 dogs EACH DAY. Considering the experience of the handler, the age of the dog, and the pro trainers they were up against, it was a very good day indeed. His scores are here. One more pass, and the CKC will hang the title "FDJ" after his name. Ray and Pascale have become very close friends. They put their deposit down before the breeding took place and visited (an eight hour drive) before the pups came, shortly after they came and to pick Roxanne up in person. Ray and Pascale have elected to use pro training, which I highly recommend if you are so inclined. Getting the pups finished is very important for your enjoyment of them. If you find you don't have the time or would like someone who has more experience taking the dog to higher levels of training. I personally use pro-training as I have more money than time, facilities and inclination to train. Plus, state laws make dog training very difficult in Massachusetts. |
