A: Don't rule out shipping for the right dog, and don't be afraid to drive hundreds of miles.  You are going to live with your dog for the next 10 to 16 years.  Get the right one.  Having the right dog for you will be well worth the weekend you spent driving to see us.  I have sold puppies to Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, Quebec, Oklahoma and Utah.

 Most folks start dreaming about bird hunting trips to far-away places: pheasants in the Midwest, quail down South, chukar out West, and grouse in the Northeast.  Do you want to travel 1000 miles with a dog when you limited your search for that dog to 30 minutes from your house?

 I ship from Boston’s Logan International Airport and use non-stop flights whenever possible, or special pet shipping service.  You should know that Logan is not the easiest airport for me to use, it is the one with the most non-stop flights.  All shipping will be done with the very best interests of the puppy in mind.  I hope you’ll agree that it’s worth a few extra dollars, or a trip to a different airport to make the flight easiest on the dog.  I’ve never shipped a dog internationally, but I can figure it out.
